DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS:
PRINCES STREET, IPSWICH
Targetfollow Launch Prestigious Central Ipswich
Office Development
40 Princes Street is a new four-storey Grade A office building developed by Norwich based Targetfollow on behalf of its affiliated car parking business RCP Investments Ltd. Designed by local architects, Beanland Associates, the new building has regenerated an under utilised former car park site in a prime town centre location directly opposite the Willis Building. It is thought that the scheme will act as a major catalyst for further new developments being brought forward in Princes Street in the future.
As a result of the building’s quality and high profile location on one of the principle routes into the town centre, the scheme has already secured a substantial letting to global real estate service provider, Savills who will occupy the ground and part of the first floors. Occupier interest in the building is strong, and the letting agents at Bidwells and Savills are continuing to market the remaining space of 7,200 sq ft to a number of potential tenants
James Smith, Associate Director of Development at Targetfollow, commented:
“This project has progressed exceptionally well and the new building is meeting the demand for Grade A commercial accommodation in Ipswich Town Centre. This completed scheme represents a further high quality asset for Targetfollow in the East Anglia region. We have experienced significant levels of occupier interest in this new development and I am hopeful of there being further tenant announcements in the near future.”
40 Princes Street will provide some of the best office accommodation available in Ipswich Town Centre. Completed to a high specification, the accommodation offers flexible open plan floor plates with raised access floors, suspended ceilings and LG7-compliant lighting. A video phone entry system and on site secure parking facilities are also provided. Externally, the building features brick, stone and alucabond cladding to its facade, with upper levels benefiting from pleasant open terraced areas with good views of Ipswich.
