DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS:
CRETE & CANDIA TOWERS, LIVERPOOL
Targetfollow have successfully achieved planning from Liverpool City Council to transform their existing residential scheme in Everton, currently known as Crete and Candia Towers.
The pair of 1960’s residential tower blocks, which stand proudly on the Liverpool horizon adjacent to the Rupert Lane Recreation Ground, offer unrivalled views across the City, the River Mersey and both Everton and Liverpool Football grounds.
The planning consent includes addressing the external appearance of the towers, renewing all M&E services and diversifying the mix of residential units available. On completion the development will offer 16 one bedroom duplex flats, 103 two bedroom apartments and 22 three bedroom apartments, instead of the current 124 three bedroom flats.
Targetfollow’s development partners, Brooke Hall Properties, have commissioned Christopher Rodgers Architects to deliver these ambitions and provide Liverpool with modern apartment accommodation but at prices to suit the local market.
Targetfollow and Brooke Hall Properties are currently investigating the delivery strategy for the first phase.
