PPS THE CHOICE FOR PROPERTY COMPANY | 07/06/05

Norwich based Information Technology Support Company Poynter Professional

Services (PPS) have been awarded a contract worth over £125,000 by expanding

National Property Company, Targetfollow Group Limited.

PPS have worked closely with Targetfollow over the last 6 months through their

consultancy team to identify a hardware and connectivity solution, which will connect

at least 18 offices throughout the UK to their centralised database in Norwich.

Targetfollow has commissioned PPS to supply a secure network based on ADLS

Wide Area Network (WAN), which will link the offices through an Internet connection,

supplied through the PPS hosting facility in London Docklands.

This service will be supported by the PPS 24/7 Total Helpdesk, which offers verbal

telephone support, remote hands support (the engineer works on the system through

an internet connection) and desk side support (attending customer sites)

Targetfollow was founded in 1992 by Ardeshir Naghshineh and business partner

Tom Bullus. The company is one of the leading private property companies in East

Anglia and has grown to control extensive corporate assets.

The group specialise in acquiring and managing the investment and development

of properties across the UK and has prospered and expanded enormously

over the last few years. More than 140 staff are employed throughout the UK, 40 of

whom are based at the Norwich, Riverside head office.

PPS are experiencing a busy year, securing several local and national contracts

among a wide selection of companies and organisations. The company will be

enhancing itsTotal Helpdesk service over the next 6 months by offering customers

the opportunity to take up three new services. These will include:

1. A Proactive IT Advice Service, which will allow PPS to assist customers in planning

their future IT expenses. For example, advising the customer when software licences

need to be renewed and when equipment will need replacing.

2. Training users on specific needs that they have while using applications within the

Microsoft Office Productivity suite (Word and Excel).

3. A Database and software development service, which will allow customers to gain

access to their databases from any location in the world.
