68 GROSVENOR STREET, MANCHESTER SOLD | 17/03/06

Targetfollow Group, a leading commercial property group focusing on town centre investments and developments, has sold 68 Grosvenor Street, Manchester to a private property investor.

The former warehouse building on the south east edge of the city centre comprises 1,214 sq m (13,068 sq ft).

Ian Fox, a director of Targetfollow, said: “The sale is a strategic disposal of a non-core asset allowing us to concentrate on larger city centre investments as we focus on increasing our Urban Regeneration Programme. The sale price achieved reflects the high demand for this type of property in this area”.

John Weir, of Drivers Jonas, said: “The sale attracted a huge amount of interest from investors, developers and potential owner occupiers. It shows the continuing buoyancy in Manchester and the lack of freehold buildings of this nature coming to the market”.

Drivers Jonas represented Targetfollow Group. Savills acted for the purchaser.
