JULIAN WELLS APPOINTED AS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR AT TARGETFOLLOW | 16/04/06

Targetfollow, a leading commercial property group focusing on town centre investments and developments, announces today that Julian Wells, formerly a Group Investment & Development Director at Hammerson plc, will be joining the Company as Development Director to co-ordinate Targetfollow’s development projects in the UK and Europe.

Julian is delighted to be joining Targetfollow at an extremely exciting point in the Company’s expansion. He was attracted to Targetfollow by the strength of the management team, the quality of the Company’s property portfolio, and its investment strategy for the future.

At Targetfollow he will be responsible for co-ordinating the company’s development projects throughout the UK, principally in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Norwich. The Company is seeking further development opportunities in the UK, France and Germany.

Julian currently lives in Norfolk with his young family and was brought up and schooled in Norwich. He is delighted to be returning to his home City to work.

During his fourteen years with Hammerson, Julian was involved with a number of the Group’s major acquisition and development projects, including the purchase of the 50,000 sq m Harbour Exchange Towers in Docklands. He also co-ordinated the acquisition and secured the future major expansion of both the Shires Shopping Centre in Leicester and the Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough. Julian also secured Hammerson’s position within the Bristol Alliance to advance the 150,000 sq m mixed use development at the Marchants Quarter. He was a member of the Group Investment and Development Board responsible for the delivery of Hammerson’s expansion by acquisition and development in the UK and Europe..
